NILESH PATEL FCA

Nilesh is the senior Partner at Hakim Fry Chartered Accountants having being instrumental in forming the practice in 1992 along with the founding Partners – Jeremy Hakim and Anthony Fry.  Prior to this he spent a number of years after qualification, with a mid-tier firm with 100 Partners and 900 staff. He has worked with clients in a number of business sectors, including software design, computer hardware distribution, leasing finance, construction, retail, hotel and leisure and project management as well as commercial/residential property dealing. He blends a business advisory service to cover corporate restructure, valuations, financing including compliance accounting and taxation services for both UK businesses as well as overseas investors into UK business sectors.

In addition to this at Hakim Fry, Nilesh has specific responsibility for developing the firm’s practice in offering personal taxation services to overseas investors into UK property market, to include Non Resident Landlords.  Hakim Fry has provided these services to the overseas market covering, Europe, Middle East, as well as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing.  Nilesh and his colleagues have presented extensively in these locations to cover the taxation impact of owning UK Property as well as the services his firm provide in dealing with annual compliance services connected therewith.

He has presented extensively with other intermediaries to include property agents, solicitors, bankers as well as property developers.

Lynn Sherstone ACA, FCCA, MAAT

Lynn commenced her accountancy career with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey, later joining Hakim Fry in 2002, where she pursued her academic studies in accountancy further.

At Hakim Fry, Lynn speedily qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2006, and became a Partner in August 2010.   She currently advises clients who include owner managed Companies, Charities, Sole traders, Partnerships & LLP’s across various industries. These include Estate Agents, Farmers, Travel Agents, Retailers, Manufacturers, Restaurateurs, Printers and Opticians, to name a few.

With over  20 years general practice experience behind her, in addition to dealing with compliance issue for her clients, Lynn is also regularly involved in helping clients prepare comprehensive business plans, cash flow forecasts, accounting system reviews, hand holding startups and other business supporting functions.

She prides herself on being able to give a personal service that helps her clients meet their needs.
